Fiber Processing Pricing

All fiber is weighed prior to washing and then again before it is picked and carded. This way youare not paying for grease and dirt.

Skirting-$25.00/fleece

Washing- No grease - $4/lb,  Average grease - $6.00/lb, High grease- $8.00/lb, extra washes- $1.00

Picking/Carding- Roving - $10.00/lb and  Batts- $9.50.  Super fine fleeces will be charged an extra $2/lb because of the time it takes to process them through the carder. These include fibers such as cria fleeces, superfine mohair, angora, and any other fibers that will need extra care.

Pin Drafting*- $2.00/lb for wool, $4.00/lb for fine fibers

Blending- $2.00/lb plus the cost of fiber if needed

Dying-  Solid Colors -$10/lb, Handpainted- $18/lb We use Pro-chem acid wash dyes and can do almost any color, but note that all dye lots do vary. For dye colors visit www.prochemical.com/catalog/washfast.htm

-We have no minimum fiber quantities, but unfortunately we must have a minimum charge of $25 on the carder.

-We have the right to refuse any fiber that does not meet our standards at the owners expense.

- Order not paid within 60 days will become the property of fibers 4 Ewe, LLC

*Depending on the length of the fiber it usually takes 2 runs through the pin drafter.
